I have a Ho-229 by PM Model that doesnt have very many parts but I think the painting will make up for it. I just have to get a good 48 hour window and I’m in!
Ladies and gentlemen (and I use that term extremely loosely with some of you, you know who you are!), if it please the group, this build shall start on the auspicious day Friday 13 November and conclude the following Sunday. However, as stated in the rambling rant of the first post that passes sorrowfully for the rules, builders need not be constrained by the first weekend if their schedules don’t allow it. Simply pick a 48 hour period that works for you (after the official start date that is), and go for it. For those of you who are undecided, and everyone knows you are because it’s in the second post, you have approximately 28 days to come up with something spectacular. Now for the really important stuff, the badge. In keeping with tradition, it needs to be a Calvin and Hobbes themed badge. Gentleman GMorrison has a sample in his latest post. If that pleases everyone, slap the dates on that bad boy and call it done. If there is/are someone/s else out there in the ether that wants to give it a shot, post it up and they’ll fight it out in the Thunderdome. Good to see this thing coming together.
Okay, I’m in, but build date will most likely be later in November or early Dec. as my schedule will permit. I’ll update as we get closer. I have NO IDEA what I’ll build. Nothing in the stash is gonna go in 48 hrs, I’m not Toshi, just not that fast. I’ll look online and at the LHS and see if I can find something worthy.

I will be working on this Revell 1/72 Sherman M4A1, I just haven’t pinned down the date yet. 
I’m in. I’m thinking right now either something in 1:72 with wings or 1:48 with treads.
Edit: Airfix 1:72 Mig-15 with Eduard PE. I’m going to try the new Vallejo metallic paint on it.
Well, I can’t pass this up. I’m in but with what, I’m not quite sure yet. I am waiting for a new battery for my camera to show up too. Looking toward mid November. Can’t wait to start! Did someone say 5 this year?

Buddy I suggest every one start with a box dump/ sprue shot on the days paper. It adds to the general mayhem. The first thing I do is dip the canopies in future 'cause that takes 24 to set. Prime all the parts on the sprues. Sort the decals and look at what’s there.
Make four sandwiches, set up mr. Coffee, make sure there’s a couple cans in the frig., do what you need to in bed and get 8.
Hmmm… My first group build. Please put me down for the Hasegawa Fw-190A Egg Plane! I’ll give it my best effort… although I can’t guarantee there won’t be Dorito crumbs in the finish.

B_onefixer, will you be building a Panther or Cougar? Per GMorrison’s suggestion, i’ve updated the rules. A kit may not be started, and a proof of life shot is highly recommended. It’s not that I don’t trust you, it levels the playing field and enforces the spirit of the build. Plus it adds to the drama of the build. Only 21 shopping days to go!
