Las Vegas

I am going next week to spend a litle time with my wife while she is at a conference. Is there anything in Vegas in regard to planes? Any airforce museums or anything like that?

For about a 12 mile drive you can be at Nellis AFB, home of Red Flag. Even though you probably won’t be able to get on base, you can probably get close enough to see bunches of aircraft taking off and landing.

I am also from Las Vegas and you can go on tours on the base such as the Thunderbird hanger ( I thinks its every wednesday) And every three months ther ee warexercises going on from countries all aver the world and all kinds of acft sThe first F117 is on a static display just inside the side gate Go on the internet and get Nellis Web site it has a lot of stuff

nsclcctl,

When will you be in Vegas? I’m gonna be there from 19 - 21 Feb, for a service meeting, and to play some bluegrass music (don’t ask[:)]). If you’re there at the same time I am, I would like to put a face with the screen name, if you don’t mind. What do you think?
