If memory serves correctly there was a very large F4E kit on the market in the mid 70’s 730r 74 I believe. I cannot remember the manufacturer but it seems like the kit was 1/24 scale it was very large. If anyone has any info on theis kit, has one or know where to acquire one I would be most appreciative.
It was probably the Revell 1/32nd scale F-4E circa 1970. It looked like 1/24th cuz the plane is so big. I don’t think anything has been molded bigger.
I would agree with Ironwolf. Back in the 70’s only Airfix was doing kits in 1/24 if I’m correct, and they only had a few WW-2 subjects (Stuka, Spitfire, Bf-109,Hurricane, P-51). So you can choose between Revell and Tamiya for an 1/32 Phantom. Hope this helps.
Go for the tamiya , bit dearer but an excellent kit , the revell ones are a nightmare
