“Langnasen” is German for “Longnose.” Here are a couple pics of my latest build of Trimaster’s 1/48 Fw 190D-9.
I cut open the wheel wells and added a Jumo 213 from a derelict DML Ta 152 kit.
It’s all together now, and awaiting paint. Unfortunately, my airbrush body broke Saturday, as I was painting the camo on MPM’s 1/48 P-63 Kingcobra. My airhose was tightened too much to the airbrush, and the vertical part detached itself from the horizontal part. I put in an order for a new one, and I hope to have it by the end of the week.
Like Roseanne Rosannadanna (Gilda Radner) used to say on Saturday Night Live, “It just goes to show. If it’s not one thing, it’s another !”
Oh no, Pix with no airbrush!!! that’s like apple pie without the apples!!! Hope you get her runnin’ soon pics and it looks like you’re well on your way to another smashing Dora.
Yes, being without an airbrush for the moment is NO fun ! Guess I’ll have to start another kit !
Here’s the scheme I’ll be using. There are panels that were prepainted at the factory, four camo colors, and NMF and gray primer undersides. I can’t wait to get some paint on it ! Hurry up, Dixie Art !
dragonfly - my trusty 10 year old Badger 150 went kaput. I’m replacing it with the same brush, as it’s always done everything I need from an airbrush.
If you know me, you know the kinds of schemes to which I gravitate. As soon as I saw this one, from Eagle Cals, my decision was made. There is another one on the sheet that I’ll use on the next Trimaster kit.
