hi,
while doing the laundry(modern man,me!)i noticed that on a pair of my girlfriend’s smalls,there were these little diamond like beads,that got me thinking,so i went to the local sewing shop & found they come in all sizes.
they make very realistic landing lights,you only need to paint the back of them the colour of the gear.
try it out.

LOL. Does your girlfriend know you’re dismantling her “smalls”? I think if my wife caught me doing something like that it would be the last time I saw her smalls for a very long time [:(] But that’s a great tip! You might want to send it into FSM.
An alternative is to buy model railroad lenses. These are the jewels that would go on some lighting fixture of a model train. You can get them in all sizes. It’s probably a more agreeable option with your wife/girlfriend as well. [;)]
what are smalls? I’ve never heard that term before.

…If you’ve never been to the UK or Europe, it gets awfully dark over there. They probably need all the help they can get!
