I recently acquired this kit but have not built it yet. You have done an excellent job on the finish and weathering so far, I hope you’ll share your completed photos with us.

Nice job so far on the LaGG. This is one of those aircraft that an engine change made a big difference with. The Russian pilots didn’t like it and nicknamed it “Certified Varnished Coffin” from the acronym LaGG and as it was made primarily from plywood and had a tendency to burn. But you can see from the lines the future La-5 and La-7 with a radial engine replacing its inline one.
