Did you see the caption that said that the tank wasn’t even painted? How interesting is that?! A KV-1 in bare steel–there’s a modeling idea?!
I think they were referring to the spot on the hull where they repaired an impact divot from an AP round, not the whole tank itself.
That’s amazing that they’re finding those tanks. I wonder if there is any danger of the ammo going off. Did you see all the 45mm rounds inside the BT? [:O]
