This is the Trumpteter KV-1 Model 1942, It was built OOB and took me about two full days. I thought it turned out pretty nice, let me know what you think!

Looks great! Love the dusty effect and the dark green. What type of green did you use??
Looks pretty darn good. I have one too, but haven’t tackled it yet. Two days? Wow! God job on the tracks.

That’s Awesome, especially for just 2 days. I couldn’t have done half as well in 2 weeks. So what are you going to build next weekend?

I liked it, I think the color and weathering are balance out just right.
The weathering around the wheels and surrounding is good.
You may want to add a little big smoke burn color surround the exhaust area thou.
BTW, that do you use for towing cables ? That does not look like OOB to me.

I like it very much, but it could do with a bit more weathering imho. A few chips and a bit more dust/ mud on the chassis [;)]

You’ve done a really nice job. Those Trumpeter kits are great value for the money.
Really excellent job, Two days makes it even more amazing, Your post just goes to show that a good looking model can be made without a billion dollars of resin white metal and etch.

Like Karl I have the Trumpy KV-2 on the bench at the moment and I found it to be an outstanding kit OOB.

Oops I forgot to ask, what paint did you use for the Russian Green?
