To cross over from another thread, it looks like it would be vulnerable to infantry attack. Lots of stuff (I assume important to keeping the walker running) on the outside that looks like it wouldn’t stand up to heavy weapons fire or small explosive charges. Even the idea of operating in pairs, with only the one offensive weapon, they wouldn’t be able to engage infantry on their wingman. If that mini-gun isn’t capable of taking out another walker, it isn’t much use. And there doesn’t appear to be any smaller secondary weapons.

The version in use in the Americas included a standard hull polarization system. In effect, it becomes electrified when approached by mammals within a certain radius. Certain animal rights groups have condemned this defensive system because of the potential harm that could befall stray dogs that might attempt to “mark their territories” on the Krote’s legs. There are unsubstantiated reports of dogs that were accidentally neutered when they lifted their leg at Krotes.

Sweet build! MaK is underrepresented here at FineScale. Though I’m guilty of not posting, I have a Raptor that I built in the fall. I’m going to use it in a diorama with a couple other suits and figures.
