I just received my Kitty Hawk F-94C in 1/48th scale. What a wonderful model! I always liked the F-94C after seeing one on display at the USAF Museum down at Dayton, Ohio. I can’t wait to build this one.
Has anybody heard if Kitty Hawk is going to make the F-86H “Sabre Hog”? If they do the same job on the F-86H as the F-94C then we can expect a lot from this company.
Don’t know about the F-86H. I picked up their F-35 and it looks pretty slick. Surface features a bit exaggerated but otherwise pretty nice. I know they have a Sepcat Jaguar on deck as their next release. From what I’ve read about the Starfire it’s a pretty slick little number and the pricing isn’t astronomical. Hopefully we can expect some good things from them.
The next release of Kitty Hawk are going to be the Jaguar and Mirage F-1. There are pics of the cad/cam and boxart on Cybermodeler.
I recently reviewed their F-35 and my review of the Starfire should be going up this weekend. IMO the Starfire’s the better of the two kits more or less all around, though I wish they’d offered a way to display the pop-out nose rockets.
Haven’t heard of them tackling the F-86H, but with their eclectic subject choices, who knows…
we need a sabre dog also or wait till revell reboxes their kit.
Did you have issues with the paint call outs on the F-35? I found the instructions were lacking when it came to the nose, wheel and weapon bays, and the raised “tape” on the fuselage. What colors did you end up using?
