Hi all! I am a newbie here at the forum, but I think it is a great place to share experiences.
I have a 1/35 Shilka seated on my workbench for a long time. It is because I am looking for the interior detail set produced by KIRIN.
Does anyone know about it? I can’t find anything about.
Any help will very appreciated.
[#welcome] to the forums mhsuzuki. I can’t answer your question, but we have many experienced members will I’m sure be able to answer your question.
[#welcome] to the FSM forum!! [:)]
Been looking for the interior set of one for a while. I’m not certain of any places online that sell it, but if you do find out, let us know.
I’m certain it is OOP. Your best bet is Ebay. IIRC, I do remember reading that the conversion wasn’t entirely accurate if something like that is important to you.
Thank you guys for the reception!
I saw it advised on MARCO POLO IMPORT but I believe they are out of business now.
I could only find some 120 mm figures from KIRIN, nothing more…
kaleu, even a conversion not 100% accurate is a better starting point than built everything from the ground…Thank you very much for the advice!
Just to mention…Excuse me in advance in case of any gramatical errors…And greetings from Brazil!
Does anyone has any about it?
I am starting to think about scratchbuilding…But will be a looonnnggg and hard task…LOL
Sorry, I haven’t seen anything. But if you do decide to scratch build, do you think you can send me any of your reference shots, as I’m kind of short on anything worthwile.
No problem. I have a good reference book (from CONCORD) and collected some pictures on the internet. As I am new here on the forum…How can I add pictures here?
Try these 2 websites

es.armorama.com/modules/photopost/ showphoto.php?photo=32692
A selection of good photos.
Folks,
About two years ago i was looking for this same resin set. What i was told was the set was never producted [at least in large numbers] because Kirin went out of buisness…greatmodels said they had been waiting for some time. apparently the molds are still out there and hopefully someone [jaguar?] will eventually market the product…hope this helps and is factual it is at least what i was told.

WELCOME mhsuzuki!!! im sorry, but im not quite sure what a shilka is. would you please enlighten the dumbfounded[D)] LOL, LOL…
Hi Gringe88!
No problem…The Shilka is a anti aircraft defense system…In a simple description it is a quadruple 23mm machine gun mounted on a tank chassis…
It was developed by the former URSS and is still in use on various countries ( I am not sure if Iraq still have theirs after the wars…LOL)
It could be compared with the german Gepard or the americans Duster and Sgt York on the function…
I hope you could understand me on my, sometimes, poor English…LOL
Thanks for the pink mhzusuki.
Can you let me know which book you have, if it is a good reference?
Hi zokissima.
It is ZSU-23-4 SHILKA & SOVIET AIR DEFENSE GUN VEHICLES from CONCORD PUBLICATIONS. It is a good reference book in my opinion, specially because is very hard to find pictures of it.
As a bonus you receive some pictures of the ZSU57 and the new TUNGUSKA.
Here in Brazil is very hard to find this kind of book…So I don’t how to compare with other publications.
Zokissima,
Did you get the book’s name?
I did indeed, and my LHS takes book orders as well, so I’ll be getting a copy within a couple of weeks.
Thanks a lot [:D]
