I have not posted for a while because school has taken a lot of my time, but I am now on spring break. This is Dragons KT with zimm, I started it in January but have not made much progress recently.

Hey that’s a really cool paint scheme! A wash of light tan oils would tone down the brightness of it a bit, but I like the look of it!
Here’s a thought–the placement of the markings is highly improbable, as where you have them they would be obscured by the spare track links when added. It wouldn’t really matter if you’re modeling this with spare tracks or not; the crew wouldn’t have aplied them there–they should be more right>>>
Can you paint them over and apply new markings?
Wow, love that camo scheme! great work so far.
Very cool! The camo is nice, looks a lot like the cat it was named after.
Actually doog, the numbers aren’t that far off from photos of Tiger II 332 in that scheme. The problem is that 332 was a Porsche Turreted Tiger II of sPzAbt 503 used in Normandy…
Despite that inaccuracy, it’s a very nice model. I like your camo a lot, I’ve been planning to attempt that scheme myself soon. You did a good job of it.

Good looking tiger so far, I like the figures! How did you paint the camo? It looks really good, makes me want to build one now.
*Hermes you said that 332 was a Porsche turreted tiger II, isnt this model a Porsche turret tiger also? I dont see what the innaccuracy is?
Really nice job on a tough scheme…how did you mask? A couple of suggestions: As doog stated you need to “knock down” the brightness of the contrasting paint…you can do this several ways. Also, it is unlikely that in Normany that paratroops would have fought with a Tiger unit, although there were some German paratroop units in action there (i believe this set is for the Ardennes KT)…again, nice job on the scheme…as far as tactical number placement, I would have to check my refs for that specific vehicle…did the kit instructions give you guidance on this?
Thanks, as for the numbers they are supposed to go where they are
For paint I airrushed the Red rown and feild gray, but I could not get the yellow to show up dark enough so I hand painted it with a fine brush. I still have to add a wash and weather, that will tone the paint down. I will also look for some new figures.
Yeti, a few other things I noticed when I looked a 2nd time was some missing track hangers and hatch handles—did these get knocked off during the building/painting process and are awaiting re-attachement?
very nice. Lve the camo. The uniforms turned really great too.
Wauu nice Tiger, good camo painting
and zimmerit is good.
I hawe a ? Is oll King Tigers hawe a zimmerit?
Lp
Looks good from what i can see but the pictures seem very dark? Is it just me.
…Guy
I have added a wash and have started adding some dust. A few of the front track hangers did fall off I am waiting to add them back on.

The 50 or so Porsche turrets did. Some of the early Henschel turrets did. Zimmerit ended in Sept. of 1944.
But it will live in our hearts forever…
I hawe a 1/35 Scale Kingtiger (Porsche turret) - Premium Edition … sow i mast work Zimmerit?

Yep.
Glad to see you get some time back at the bench yeti! Looks like your KT is coming right along. Hand-painting the yellow lines looks like it did just the trick, very convincing camo scheme.
thanks, I got the tracks on and did some more weathering, I just need to add back on the hanger for the tracks and paint part of one of the wheels then add a flat coat.
