I’m off work next week and have a Tamiya King Tiger I’ve had since Christmas I want to work on. Has anyone every seen one with a dazzel camo paint job. I’ve seen pictutre of I think a Hertzer or possiblely a Jagdtiger with a dazzel job and just want to see proof first and second how it would look before I go down that route.
Do you have picture or a better description of the “dazzel” paint scheme you mean? Are you refering the the ambush scheme? (the base colors with “dots” of the opposite colors applied over them)?
Since it’s a hobby, artistic license is yours to go for. The Jagdpanther you cite mimics a scheme seen on late war (April 45) vehicles seen during the final defense.
Since Tiger Is ended production much earlier, it’s highly doubtful that any had schemes similar to the Jagdpanther you cited.
This is probably the closest you will get to that style of camo scheme. A Porsche turreted King Tiger from schwere Panzer Abteilung 503 in Normandy, summer 1944.
