King Tiger in dazzel camo

I’m off work next week and have a Tamiya King Tiger I’ve had since Christmas I want to work on. Has anyone every seen one with a dazzel camo paint job. I’ve seen pictutre of I think a Hertzer or possiblely a Jagdtiger with a dazzel job and just want to see proof first and second how it would look before I go down that route.

Thanks in advance

Do you have picture or a better description of the “dazzel” paint scheme you mean? Are you refering the the ambush scheme? (the base colors with “dots” of the opposite colors applied over them)?

Something like, but cant find the exact colour scheme I’m looking for but sure you can guess what I mean

Since it’s a hobby, artistic license is yours to go for. The Jagdpanther you cite mimics a scheme seen on late war (April 45) vehicles seen during the final defense.

Since Tiger Is ended production much earlier, it’s highly doubtful that any had schemes similar to the Jagdpanther you cited.

Good luck on your painting choices, regardless

Just FYI, “Dazzel” is a camouflage primarily painted on ships of the Royal Navy and US Navy during WW2…

I think the “Ambush” camo is what you’re wanting…

Here’s a link you might find interesting… It depicts an Ambush scheme on the King Tiger.

Also, here’s a profile set that might help:

The link you posted is a BADLY painted museum piece. I havne’t seen any Tiger II in that scheme.

EDITED

This is probably the closest you will get to that style of camo scheme. A Porsche turreted King Tiger from schwere Panzer Abteilung 503 in Normandy, summer 1944.

Dragon makes a KT with those markings.

It was tougher then I thought to find this scheme.

Sorry, I wasn’t talking about what HVH linked, I was talking about the link by P Mitch.

HVH gave good, solid info as always. Sorry for the confusion.

My bad. No harm done. Back to the bench.
