King,Stug,Marder

This being my day off and having time as well as my wife camera,I wanted to make some clearer pics of some builds I did months or more ago.Ya’ll had problems with seeing these builds in the past due to to much lighting or not in focus. The first set is of the King Tiger I did using house dry wall plaster for Zimmet…

The next set is of the Stug and Marder I did for the hunter group build…

I know there are a lot of pics on this but to see all of it,well you know.Digger

convert the top pic to black & white, and you may think it’s an original. Nice build! But I think I liked the STUG III best for some oddball reason.

Nice looking builds, but be careful of floating roadwheels.

I took my chance and edited it…

Anyways, awsome Panzers!

Digger, i’m no expert but I think your Stug tracks are on backwards. Pvt Mutt

Very nice builds diggeraone must’ve missed them the first time round[zzz].

Can I ask what kits they are?

Mark

I think you’re right:

And one of these is forward and the other reversed:

Al got it correct, digger–shame about the tracks, but the paint jobs and the overall look of he kits loook good.

The KT is my fave!

Thanks ya’ll and yes the King does look good in black and white photo. As for the tracks, oops,I just noticed it myself for the first time…lol.I guess it won’t be the first nor the last.I must of been really tired those days.Mark as for the kits, all three are Dragons and the Stug is a discountinued kit.I had the E-mail Dragon for missing parts on that kit.Digger

After looking at the King Tiger in these new photos,I can say that I would use the plaster again on another build.I like how it can be worked and the the gain texture of the plaster gives it a real look to it.

All look good to me…especially like the KT and zimm work…might try a better set up for your pics and get in a little closer…

Good looking overall builds, Digger. Especially the KT.

And don’t worry too, too much about the tracks being on backwards. They did put them on like that, from time to time. I don’t have them with me at the moment, but I have seen pics of StuGs, Pz IIIs and Pz IVs with one or both tracks on backwards.

It wasn’t all that common, but backwards tracks doesn’t necessarily make the build inaccurate.

He needs to invest in a tripod. Even a cheap one will better than anything hand held. Also use a remote shutter release to keep your fingers away from the camera body.
