If a pilot who fought in WW2, Korea, and Nam scored kills in all three conflicts, would his plane in Nam’ carry kill markings from the previous conflicts?

As far as I have seen pilots did not carry over kills from a previously conflict. If you reference pilots like Robin Olds, Gabby Gabreski. There Korean and Vietman war plans do not have kill marks from there WWII victories as far as I have seen. Of course there always could have been some pilots that did. I just have never seen photo evidence of it.

On the other hand, during WW 2 there were pilots who have kills marks that were achived from other battlefield printed on their planes. For example, James Howard from the USAAF while flying his P-51B ‘Ding Hao’ in Europe, had his Germans kills and Japanese kills (achived while in Flying Tiger earlier) all marked in his plane. An Australian ace (sorry forgot his name), while serving in far east, had his Japanese and German kills (achived while in North Africa? earlier) marked together.
Also. A lot of German pilots hung on to thier Spanish civil war kills on thier tails.
