Here is the Hasegawa 1/32 Ki-61 Hien (Tony). After the camo on this one I think I need a nice one color OD green P-40[:D]
Comments and critiques always welcome. Thanks for looking.

Beautiful! Awesome! The camo looks great!
Are the white and blue lines on the fuselage painted or decaled?
Really top notch work Marc! Nice!

See wing_nut, now that you’ve done a Tony, any old, obscure IJA/IJN kit is open to you [;)]
Okay, I’ll stop mongering for my GB now…but seriously, that is one nice looking paint job. Quite up to your standards…mebbe I don’t want you to join…between the Tony and the 111 from Bombergruppe, methinks you’d prolly show me up. Well Done! [:D]
Suhweeet!! Man…you’re really pumpin’m out Marc. That’s another beauty! Great job!
Jerry
Well worth the effort, Marc. You handled the unique camo with perfection, too. Seriously, this is a very, very nice build of one of the coolest Japanese warbirds of the period.

Very nice, Great work on the camo.
Thanks all for the compliments.
Ro those are the kit decals
Jerry… you got me wondering with your comment. That’s 14 completed projects this year. I gotta slow down.[;)]
Very nice, very very nice, I couldn’t do better myself.
As they say in Britain “Absolutely Fabulous”
Excellent work Marc [tup]. One of your very best efforts. Thanks for sharing.
Regards, Rick
Awesome Marc, you are the man. I love it all. Camo weathering, subject. Those brakelines are just Sublime. Well done fella [bow]
…Guy
Very sharp work. Your time on the paint masks paid off. Very nicely detailed.
Andy
Wicked sweet, yo.
Tell me, once you cut out your camo mask friskets, how did you secure them onto the plane so they didn’t move or lift up too much during airbrushing?
Thank you all for the very kind words.
Mark I used 3M mounting squares, thin foam rubber with tape on both sides, cut into small pieces for the first wing. It was too sticky and too hard to move around. I used little balls of fun-tac. Very easy to move and to adjust the height and so on.
Excellent work on the model and nice photography also.

Very nice build Marc. I have been following this build and you have inspired me to start my 1/48 Tony. The one thing that has kept me from starting is I have no clue what color to paint the interior. I was wondering what color you painted the interior?
-Mark
Job well done.
Job well done. My favorite Japanese WWII aircraft by far.

Definitely a 3 hairy thumbs up Marc!!! [tup][tup][tup] Well done!
I was thinking the same thing Dave!
Marc, I hereby bestow upon thee the Order of the Three Thumbs. [tup][tup][tup] You have really outdone yourself with this one. I salute you, my friend! Truly awe-inspiring. [bow]
Thanks very much guys. Dave, is there some significance to the “hair”[;)]
