Ki-61 Complete!

1/32 Hasegawa Ki-61 complete.

I used alclad NM and Tamiya acrylics for the main finish. MM for the cockpit. Flory washes for the weathering as well as various oils. Thanks for taking a look. There are more pics in the Japanese GB.

Sweet camo work on this one! Great job on the canopy masking too. It looks crisp and clean. I like the chipping on the black nose. Did you spray on the markings too?

Nathan, I didn’t spray on the markings. If I were to do it over it again, I would have sprayed the insignia for better weathering control with some salt. The Hasegawa decals do go on nicely, however. I did the canopy with alclad and eduard masks. I didn’t prep it with future. Just straight out of the box, using novus on a few blemishes.
