This is the old Otaki 1/48 scale kit of the Ki-43 Oscar. It’s a simple kit, but I think it built up nice. I tried a few new things for me on it. I used the salt trick for the paint chip look. Also I used a wash of stuff I mixed up to weather it. I went for the dirty and abused look. After I got finished it reminded me of pics I’ve seen of a/c during the rainy seasons in Asia, so that’s where the title came from. Hope y’all like her.

I love it!. Some of the older Arii, Nichimo and Otaki kits may be simple, but they build up nicely, as did yours! Great job on the Oscar!
