I have been building car models since i was 10. The think what really aggravated me was the glue build up and the clogging on the tip. I found an easy way to keep the tip clean everytime i need it. Just go to your mom’s sewing kit and get a needle. (or you can get em out of dem dare fancy shirts too) Just make sure it has a head on it. Then carefully push it through. Once in awhile it will bend so be careful. Get it started then turn it upsidedown and push the cap down. This keeps the tip clean and build up stays at the bottom of the tube spout . This make its real easy to grab and pull off when it collects and dries.
good idea im useing that one .thanks
People still use tube glues? [%-)]
I use this, it never clogs. [;)]

Tube Glue? Didn’t that disappear about the time Disco did? I haven’t used that since the late seventies. Good time though. You might want to seal your tube in a snack sized ziplock bag to keep exposure to air at a minimum.
I, for one, would like to buy a 12-pack of Tenax…if anyone can find it in stock
Check Sprue Brothers. Isn’t a twelve pack a bit much. If you’re using that much, you might want to use Weld-On #3, it comes in larger cans and is a bit hotter than Tenax. I use Tenax when I need a slightly cooler solvent. My pint of Weld-On has lasted me several years, I transfer working amounts into smaller 1oz bottles to keep evaporation to a minimum and from spillage by bumping the bottle.
