KC-135R CFM56 engines 1/144

Hi all,

Anyone know where where I can find a set of DFM56 engines in 1/144 scale for a KC-135R tanker? I have beens searching the internet at all my usually sites that carry aftermarket resin parts and no one seems to have these. I think that if I buy a Minicraft Delta DC-8-71 that these would be the correct engines but I hate to buy a kit just to steel the engines for another kit. Any suggestions?

You’d have to rework the engine pylons too. BTW that DC-8 kit is fantastic, probably one of if not the best Minicraft kit ever produced.

Minicraft is slated to produce a KC-135 family in the near future…starting with an E model. The CFM56 off the intercontinental airframe series is expected too.
