k5 Camouflage patterns

Guys, please help. About to start Trumpeter k5 and I would like to put the model in a camo pattern. Question here is accuracy. Can anyone guide me to wartime pictures of the mighty k5 showing camo patters? What were the colours used?

Thanks in advance,
Nuno

Nuno, you know if memoryt serves there is an Osprey book on the German railway guns. That might be a good place to start – they have lots of color plates of the featured items.

EDIT: Oops, I was wrong. I’ll look for other sources.

Squadron’s Railroad Guns in Action has two color plates and a few b/w photos of a K-5. I have some shots of of either Robert or Leopold somewhere in my books, sporting a rather unusual, very thin vertical striped camo. I’ll see if I can find them later, right now it’s of to the dentist. Ugh!
