Hi guys!! I just finished (Still have super glue all over my hand hehe) another of my weird birds: an AT-63 Pampa in 1/48 scale. the Kit is from Aconcagua, it´s a multimedia kit, made of resin, white metal and P.E.
The real thing is a trainer and light attack plane designed in Argentina in the ´80 as the IA-63 Pampa, nowdays an improved version the AT-63 Pampa II is manufactured by Lockheed-Martin Argentina S.A
Like most of this kinds of kits it was dificult to build, but with patience it can be turned on a real gem. the building was fun with some problematics areas, the vacuformed canopy had poor fit, the decals din´t stick well and silvering even over a coat of future, I made some scratch on the wheel bays and some other areas. I still have to add some details but is mostly finished.
I think this is one of my best works. Hope you like it, any comment os critics will be welcome
Jeremias- I have to agree, your best work yet! I have to be honest, I always look forward to seeing your work as you present beautiful models of aircraft I am not familiar with, or have never even heard of before! Well done, and thanks again! [tup]
Jeremias, muy bien! I enjoy your builds; as mentioned, most of the planes I have not even heard off… not only you do a great building job, you are teaching many of us novel and interesting planes… cheers!
