Just not fair!

Well I just checked Perth Military Modellers and it looks like Dragon is releasing a Tiger I Late to accompany their Early version. Oh the humanity, I already have a late, but it could be much better. Now do I spring for the Late with all the Dragon value that comes with it? Dilemnas, dilemnas.

Thanks for the info. I predict that within a few years a very enterprising and dedicated modeller will have built accurate models of every Tiger I. There are certainly enough kits, decals and aftermarket sets to make this a reality. So, who’s up for the challenge? [:D]

I’m sure you’ll find a spot for it Eric. Be sure and post pictures when you start on it. LOL!!! Semper Fi, mike

I wonder what the 3 in 1 is? I am familiar with their 251 3 in 1, but I was unaware the late had that many variants (Since surely they would bill three decal options that way!)

Can one truly have too many Tigers?

I have never had or even seen a Tiger I from Dragon. Could you show the boxart please? (1:35)

Should be interesting to see that from Dragon. With the Tamiya prices going higher I would settle for the ones from Dragon but like you Tigerman, I already have the late version so I might opt for the early…

Try this: http://www.perthmilitarymodelling.com/newkitnews/newf.htm

Perhaps a future Mid-Production. [:D] Oops, too many tires to paint. [V]

That’s why I chose the late version (with steel rimmed wheels) for my first Tiger kit. [:p][:D]

Oh well at least those wheels are bigger than that of a Panzer 4 or Sherman.[;)]

True, but more rubber to paint! Yuck. The late does sound intriguing. Please, someone call the paddy wagon and haul me off. I still haven’t bought the King Tiger final production yet. Well, i guess we know what will be on Santa’s list. [;)]

Another Tiger! I like the Tiger both as an AFV , and building it in kit form . I think the market is getting " Tigered out" . How about an IDF Centurion, or a Centurion AVRE,a Sherman Crab, a M60 or Leopard AVLB , or even a tank transporter ( like the ones built by Scammall , or Diamond), or even a M103 Heavy Tank. Or artillery , German 150 ,and 170 mm guns, the American 280 mm Atomic Cannon , or a Honest John Missile, all in 1/35 scale.

" PERSEVERANCE"

Thanks for the link, tigerman, it’s very interesting. Nice to see much more new coming models. But all those are new, I have yet to see the Early version which you said released in the past. I wonder how come I’ve never seen it. [:)]

Actually, I haven’t seen it yet. PMM usually gets the heads ups before we do in the States. I imagine it will arrive shortly. To further wet your appetite, AFV Club is releasing one also. I think it too is a late version.

Update, I checked and it is the late version with metal barrel and pe parts.

Does the world really need ANOTHER Tiger I kit. There’s so much still out there that we actually NEED kits of.

Apparently, somewhere, someone believes the answer to that question is yes

[#ditto]I really think that make what sells. I for one will eventually buy and build them all. Can’t get enough of those Tigers. Please don’t hate me[:D]

I would tend to agree with that. It’s good to see Dragon producing Tigers, Tamiya has held the corner on that for far too long IMHO…with Academy also offering full detail interiors as an option, Tiger fans have a lot to choose from now, and that’s always good for prices and competition in the marketplace.

Model Maniac,

If you look on that PMMS link, towards the bottom you will see that Dragon has two Tiger I kits, # 6252 is the Early version sPzAbt 502 Leningrad 1943 (no box art and listed as a NEW! item) and # 6253 is the Tiger I Late Prod with box art.
