Just found a great source for fine wire mesh material

Ha ! Didn’t know there were any headships left

You just gotta know where to look dude. “Onward thru the fog!”[:D]

and yes, they do sell fine brass screen…they tell me folks use it in pipes?[H]

I’d like to search for those brass screens.
Hmmmm…been so long since I recall seeing such shops in Chicago, I’m not sure what to Google for these days.
Hookah pipes?
So far as I know, pot isn’t yet completely legal in Illinois though the behavior of many drivers on Illinois roads would suggest otherwise.[bnghead]

What is this, the Cheech & Chong fanclub?!?? [whstl]

No.

“Dave’s not here.” [H]

You might want to try the plumbing section of your local hardware store, too, for the aerating screens used in water faucets. Depending on the scale, they might work for you.

They can also be used to turn an apple into a bowl, too, man. If you live in Colorado, try it.

I’ve checked the aeration screens for mesh size but so far haven’t found a mesh with the proper size weave spacing. Been considering using those screen circles for WWII German tank engine cooling fan vents.
As for apples and bowls…
…I’d rather not try.[:O]
…but I don’t live in Colorado…[;)]

This IZZZ Dave, mann…

Sure?

bien sûr!

There’s a ton of wire meshes under $10 on eBay.

Not everyone has access to these , but one of the best sources for micro mesh can be obtained with used automatic automobile transmission filters. They can be a pain to crack open but the quantity and quality of the mesh screen is worth it.
