searching for a project to tide me for a few weeks. Saw on modelingmadness.com that there’s a company called “Just Fantasy” from Oregon that makes some cool resin kits, especially luft 46 stuff. I can’t seem to find how to get a hold of one of these kits. I’ve tried all the major internet hobby shops. Any suggestions?
p.s. The kit in particular was a BV 212. It looked like a fun little kit…I know Fonderie miniatures also makes this kit but was looking to “branch out”. If I can’t get a hold of the Just Fantasy 1/48 model then I guess I’ll get the fonderie kit.
Thanks. a bunch for your help …I think I found it under Pend Oreille Models…“Just Fantasy” seems to be some sort of sub-brand of this company. Anybody ever built one of their kits?
POM does good stuff - expensive, but good. I’ve not built their 212 but have seen it done with great results. Have built the FM 212 and it is okay. You might want to add some additional exterior detail and decals on it and watch the wing alignment. Would be a good idea to run a steel pin or needle through the nose gear strut also because it’s very weak.
I ended up ordering the POM kit online but something was wrong with their website, so I called them on the phone. The kit producer’s mother answered the phone in a very thick french accent. It was sort of a comedy of errors trying to communicate with her. I almost tried my high school french, but I figured that would make things worse. Pretty funny though.
