I just finished up my first model since leaving high school in 1993 and it was also my first airbrush experience (apart from a little work done on a tank in December but that’s still in progress). Have a look - it’s Airfix’s 1:48 Bf 109E. Any comments or criticism welcomed. I know the decals sucked - badly our of register and I plan to inform Airfix.
Looks great. I did the Tropical 109 from Airfix. Its a lovely kit. I’m sorry you had problems with the decals. The ones in my kit were some of the nicest kit decals I’ve dealt with in a while.
My next project is an Eduard 1/32 BF109. Hope it turns out as nice as yours. Thanks for the pics.
I get the name thing, my real name is Yvon, pronouned Ivan in english. It’s a french name. The first time anyone see’s it they pronounce it as Yvonne. So I go by my nickname which is Ives.
Anyways thanks for the pics and keep them coming. I’ll post up some of my Wildcat f4f-3 when i’m done. I made some mistakes but so far i’m happy with it.
Fantastic looking Emil!![B] [D] [t$t] Yeah, so I like the occasional cocktail but that is a great build. I just bought that Airfix kit and have heard many good things about it, [snWcm] back.
Guess it’s like riding a bike? haha Wow, great job, especially with little experience with an airbrush! The mottling is nice. Thanks for the inspiration. Look forward to seeing more! [:D]
