Jurassic Park III - Amphibs?

Right at the end of Jurassic Park III there are some Amphibian Crafts that show up on the beaxh to rescue the people. Does anyone know what kind of Amphibs they were?

Any models of them?

AAV7A1 or LVTP7A1

Haven’t seen the movie, but if MAJ Rob is correct, as he usually is, Tamiya, Trumpeter, and Academy all make different versions of them. Tamiya does the LVTP7A1 and AAVP7A1 w/UGWS (UpGgunned Weapons Station). Trumpeter coppied both Tamiya kits. Academy does the older LVTP7 as well, which is mostly a copy of the Tamiya LVTP-7A1 with added parts to backdate it to an LVTP7 version. It is a good kit though, better than the Tamiya in some areas.

Mini Hobby also did a AAVP7A1 w/UGWS and EAAK add-on armor, but it is a poorly coppied Tamiya kit that has been modified for motorization and has all the hull angles now out of wack. The only good thing is that the EAAK Armor can be taken and added to the Tamiya AAVP7A1 kit to produce a pretty good lokking model.

[:D] hi guys,i am building the Academy lvtp-7 right now, not haveing built any of the other kits listed i cant compere them,as for this kit i like it,the kit has two options,motor drive,and not,the comaders hatch area is molded solid,the turret has 2 optionsone molded solid and one open ,you will have to make the glass pieces your self.the rest of the kit seem to be good,ill let you know when im finished.[:D]
