I love the action pose! and a great build too! You can almost hear the Japanese alarms on the carrier decks screaming! really cool [8D][tup].
Drilled a hole in the lower air scoop and used a pin on the end of the dowel to mount it.
Great looking model & a unique presentation for display. Very nice work.

Seriously, that is a great looking Dauntless. I like the stand. I think aircraft look so much more dramatic in their natural element, and what’s more natural for a Dauntless to be near vertical, dive brakes out, and about to rain some destruction on the enemy.[tup][tup]

That is an awesome build in an even more awesome pose. Would’ve been cool to have the bomb crutch swung open too…but I can’t imagine doing as well as you did…what a great idea!!
