ju 52 color schemes ???

Hi everyone !! does anyone have or know where i might find some interesting schemes for the ju -52/3m (military transport /paratroper version )I’m wanting to break away from the normal 70/71/ 65 scheme and have something different.
Thanks in adavnce[:)]

Yes there are. In my book of Luftwaffe aircraft, there are two different paint schemes besides 70/71 and all white.

One of the planes is painted with a dark gray on top with squiggly lines in a lighter gray with RLM 65 on bottom.

Ju 52/3mg7e (1Z + NA) of Stab IV/TG 1

Another one is white with 3 large camo bands of green. 2 are dark and 1 is light. Hard to explain this one very well.

Unfortunately this is all the info I can provide.

How about this scheme :-

The main reason for buying my Revell Ju-52 was its interesting paint scheme. Maybe not strictly WW-II Luftwaffe, but still… The (1/48, #04558) kit comes with a choice of either a silver/black Berlin Olympics aircraft, complete with multi-colored olympic rings and swastika on the tail, or two more silver post-war versions (Deutsche Lufthansa Berlin Stiftung, 1990, and British European Airways, 1948).

Check out Dragonfly’s “Where Eagles Dare” paint scheme from last month. If you go to the search and look up Dragonfly’s profile, then under some of this recent posts, you should be able to find it. It would have been around the middle of last month, circa 15th or 16th of June. It was a great paint scheme that he modelled after the Ju 52 in the movie “where eagles dare”. Hope you can find it;.

Oh heck, he don’t wanna see my old Junker.

Olsen,

There’s several interesting camo schemes in Squadron’s Ju-52 in action book #186. The only problem would be scrounging up the decals. It’s a great book on a great airplane. These planes were actually operational, my model was not.

Cheers,

Jerry

Check this out!!

Great camo scheme and easy to reproduce decals and a very good review article.

I´m going to try this out in a couple of months. (I hope so)

Aren’t those pics life-like? I sometimes wish I’d stumped up the cash for a Digital SLR, as it’d make that sort of photography much easier.

Here you can find the reference photo…

type JU 52 in the search engine…

thanks for your replys everyone !!! I was thinking of doing a " Where eagles dare"what if type scheme as i really enjoyed Draogflys build. Actually i’ve found pics of the aircraft (after the movie ) with swiss insignia on it . This would look pretty cool but my interior is wrong as i’ve built the military version . oh well ! I’ll see if i can find that squadron in action book and maybe something different might come up. " imaguigan " your links didn’t seem to work for some reason .If anyone else finds any interesting schemes could you please post them here. thanks again everyone !
