Quick q…anyone know of any British Jet Provost or Strikemaster kits out there (preferably 1:72)? I’d love to make one as an RNZAF example (I live 30mins drive from their former base).

Airfix did a very nice JP T5 , and if you can get hold of it, Matchbox did a Strikemaster in RNZAF colours as well as (I think) a SOAF example.
WWW.kingkit.co.uk have a strikemaster, but it is expensive, £10.
The JP is also out of production, but is a really nice kit, if you can find one.
Revell may release the Matchbox Strilemaster but I doubt it.
Aeroclub do 2 kits Jet Provost Mk 3/4 and Jet Provost Mk5/Strikemaster http://www.aeroclub-models.com/index.html I don’t know if they are still in production, I did make the Mk 3/4 for a friend and I was impressed.
I have made the Matchbox kit. Very simple kit, typical matchbox engraving but nice none the less.

Both in the UK, both good for old kits.
The Matchbox kit comes with Kiwi decals, though they might be a bit crinkly by now

Thanks for your help…Pete - seeing as the Matchbox kit has RNZAF decals I think that’s the way to go. Unfortunately, as a penniless high school graduate (our senior school year ends in November) eBay and the like are beyond my reach so my Bluntie will have to wait.
