This is the link to a model by Josh. I have worked with him for about six years. On the link page you can find his design of what he would like to do with this model. We worked on the base of the space ship in class today. We had a door from one other model so he is making that part of the space ship. Josh has about 20 hours into the model now. He has a model show next month and would like to have this on display. I will add a folder to the web page with his some of his drawings. last night I had him draw some cartoons. keep an eye on this model and this young man. [:D]

Hey Pixilater,
Josh is doing some cool drybrushing on this space door. I need to post some pics asap. WOW this is so cool! This kit will be an A+ at any model show.

That is going to be one savage looking vignette (sp?). I can’t wait to see the final piece.
On a side note: As I was looking through the model picts (your students are doing an excellant job) I started wondering what the models would look like with a comcieved background. For example the headless horsemen. What would it look like against a photo/painting of a eerily lit night wood scene? There’s some fun to be had there as well as composition/perspective lessons.
You will find new photos of Josh’s model with this link. I’m starting with his design drawing that will lead into his model photos. http://community.webshots.com/scripts/editPhotos.fcgi?action=showMyPhoto&albumID=74366942&photoID=82929355&security=pzlUSX
