Oh man that’s nice! Don’t forget the grease stains on that bag. You know it’s going to be a good burger if you can see through the bag! BTW… a nice 69 Plymouth GTX would look really nice in that garage!
That is too funny, Mustang. Nice job!
Thanks brutha’s Joe , Tanker Builder, Chad and Bakster!
Walls are coming together and I’ve got a couple of more things done here. The welder I’ve actually had about 80% completed for years now and didn’t realize that until I opened the box up again for the first time in like…a decade. I just finished the engine stand and am now working on the shop desk. Right now that doesn’t have anything on it but I’m working on painting up a camera, then there’ll be a coffee pot and a couple of cups and some other miscellaneous things on there. I added a couple of items in there just for fun.
And here’s the desk and chair that I’ve been working on for the last week. I ended up building the resin coffee pot kit that I had, the camera came from the Fujimi tools kit as did the chair. Coffee cup is resin and was cleaned up and drilled out. Coffee can is also a resin kit. I felt something was missing from the desk top so I’ve got a microwave kit coming and will probably put a piece of notebook paper and a pencil on the desktop as well.
Coming together nicely there Joe. I never realised there was so much of this stuff you could get.
Joe,
What a great idea to build a garage to snap photos of your completed builds. The shop is coming along nicely. Can’t wait to see it complete.
Looking fantastic Joe. I have to say that your cutting mat looks more like a real shop flloor than the one in your display though.[;)]
Hey Mustang, that is looking awesome. It looks good enough for me to live in. Taking any tenants? I’m calling first dibs!
Say, I’d like to see an image with something in it for scale reference. I want to see if my hot tub will fit. He He.
Looking good sir…
Geez man, that’s looking really nice! I love the attention to the small details. Seriously though, what kind of Mopar are you going to put in there?! [:P]
Great job so far!
I was thinking maybe a little cell phone sitting on the computer desk.
That is looking great!!! Love the detail! Great imaginative use.
Don’t forget the light switches and electrical outlets on walls with all that other detail !!
[:D]
Really very impressive work!
Thanks everybody! No worries Joe…there be a LITTLE evidence of auto repair here and there. Don’t forget that this is a hobby/ weekend backyard garage and not a professional repair shop where the dirt/oil/ fingerprints would be everywhere.
As far as the electrical outlets and light switches…already got 'em. lol
This is a hoot to follow.
Keep it up, Joe… this is great stuff.
Wow, looks fantastic!!!
Maybe you could add some copies of ‘Car & Driver’ or other auto magazines for the desk??? [2cnts]
Thanks Greg and Gamera. Already got a couple things more on the desk. [;)] Pictures coming…
Told ya! More items on that desk there Gamera. Got a few goodies in and have been working on the OOB items. I also moved the loose items out of the shop to reduce excessive clutter. Look for the additions and changes…
That looks wonderful Joe!! Great job, and awesome details.
I wish my garage was that clean! Love it!
Looks completely awesome so far Joe. I was going to suggest some service manuals but, it appears you already have that covered there on the shelves. I find that there is little need to make any suggestions to you as you seem to have every angle covered. It’s almost like you’ve actually spent years in an auto repair garage.[;)]
Very cool! [Y]
Hey !
Isn’t that the pot I sold you at my miniature garage sale last year . ? LOL.LOL. That looks very inviting .
