Did Jasper Joker II P-51D-10-NA Ser# 44-14803 have puttied wings whwn flown in England. I know it was puttied when it left the U.S. but some units removed the putty.

It’s my understanding it wasn’t removed, but wore off over time. I always leave the lines alone because it looks better to my eye on the finished plane.
