Hi Gamera. I thought you were going with an Imperial Japanese Build? That would eliminate the anime, cars and other non-military kits.
I do suggest that you limit the GB to around 3-4, maybe 6 months. People tend to get lazy and others will put off starting due to the long time frame. You want a little bit of desperation out of your participants so that they will get on the ball and finish.
Definately WWII,although I do have a few jet kits with JASDF decals.an f-104 and an f-15j. BUT…to me, they`re not Japanese planes. How would you handle that scenario?
Len: Hadn’t really thought about it but I suppose used by the Japanese would work better than limiting it to built by the Japanese. So a captured P-40 in Japanese colours would work as well.
Though I have to say with 1 comfirmed and three possibles I just don’t see the interest to go though with this. I’ll let this run over the weekend but I if I don’t see much more interest by Monday I’m going to call the whole thing off.
Big-G…you know I would defenitely get in on this one…I ve got a couple of cool kits I can think of…might be a good excuse to pull that floatie thingie Pete out of the stash…
Troublemaker: Yes, one on the ships forum and one on the armour forum since I’m assuming they get the most traffic. Didn’t put anything up on the GB forum or the figure one since I assume most people who post there will look at the big three as well.
If I can get about ten people I’ll throw the GB up in Sept. and we’ll see where it goes from there. I’m not looking for any sort of commitment now just a general show of interest.
I am wondering if I should have waited rather than asking people for a show of hands three months before the thing kicks off.
