Japanese Carrier Deck Crew

I am thinking about building Hasa’s 1/32nd A6M5c Zero with a deck launch diorama. I would appreciate any info on were I can find appropriate sized figures to modify to fit the scene or are there any available kits that fit this project’s theme? I can’t seem to find anything on Hasagawa’s site and most other searches have ended with loads of german/us/british armor crew but no japanese deck crew at that scale.

Unfortunately, you won’t find much in the way of 1/32 figures. There are no 1/32 Japanese deck crew figs that I know of. You could check w/ Preiser (scroll down) for some generic 1/32 figures to convert. You could also go with 1/35 figures. The scales are close enough for me. Good luck.

Thanks for the company name. Any suggestions for possible 1/35th suppliers?

There are a myriad of 1/35 figure companies. For plastic, DML is good, then Tamiya, Italeri, ICM, etc… There are lots of resin companies that make figures as well; Verlinden, Warriors, Blast, Alpine, etc…

All the above have figures that would be good candidates for conversion. None make Japanese carrier crew that I know of though.
