Since it doesn’t end till June 2006, count me in. I thinking of a 1/48 Nakajima Ki.27 Type 97 “Nate” in Manchukuo markings. Anyone have a group badge idea yet?

As far as the badge thing goes,any designs or ideals will be welcomed.My ideal on this is the impereal flag with a flight of aircraft.I don’t know yet how to do this on a computer,so any help will be welcomed.Digger

Digger, I like your idea of the imperial flag with a flight of AC. BTW I’m doing a KI-43I Hayabusa (Oscar), not an A6M (Thats my Pearl Harbour build).

How about the Japanese flag instead of the imperial flag, as the imperial flag is not used after WWII.

Digger …I got lucky at the last Hobby Lobby sale, and scored a Tamiya A6M2 for 6 bucks. I’m in if It’s not too late.

Just curious, is anyone building their planes yet? I know the time frame is May 05 to May 06 so we have lots of time.

I’ve got two builds going strong right now with a third to be started in September. I plan to start my oscar sometime in late October.

tried to make the badges.

looked alrite when i first started, really nice and clean but then i started to look for those kanji characters and things got crowded… oh well.

the reason for using the zero… well who can state against the fact that zeros are the most well-known name for japanese aircraft in wwII.
