is there an after market manufacter that sells a barrel with a manlet? i bought the dragon kit as an open box and the barrel was gone so i bought an jordi rubio barrel but its to small for the kits manlet. thanks

Try CMK. I have their barrel and mantlet for the DML Hetzer and it is very nice. I don’t know for certain if they make the same stuff for the Jagdpanther but CMK is a good place to start.

I used the Eduard barrle for mine .
Aber also now makes one .

Both should fit the existing mantlet just fine .

If you are interested, you can have my kit barrel no charge. I have an aftermarket (2 if you count the 88 barrel conversion for late JTs they sent me by mistake). LEt me know

thanks guys i did find one from hot barrel that has the manlet and barrel it looks great i ordered it yesterday from vls at modelmecca.com part #HB053 hope you check this out captain caveman the part is only 12.95 with shipping and handling

I’ve got the CMK Hot Barrel for the Jagdtiger. Really nice with a resin mantlet. I gave away the plastic kit barrel already though.

Some of the CMK barrels have a lot of cleanup required on the resin muzzle brake, so keep that in mind. I used the King Tiger barrel for the Tamiya kit and spent a good hour and a half filing off flash acleaning it up. Looks good though. Also, I noticed it is about 5mm longer than the kit barrel and also the muzzle brake was noticably larger.

im only missing the end bit of the mantle, the bit with the flat bottom
i should make one i think

No muzzle brake on the Jagdtiger barrel though.
