Jack Scarecrow gaming mini

My wife’s desk at work tends to become home for a multitude of small pop figures, bobble heads, etc. Last year around Halloween I decided to add to her menagerie when I saw this at the local game store.

It’s from a company called Soda Pop Miniatures. It’s my first attempt at painting any figure in about 35 years. Paints used were anything from Model Master, Tamiya, Gunze, and generic craft paints.

I tried some layering, washes, blending to various degrees of success and am fairly happy with the result. I’ve got a few more to work on to improve my skills. Just got myself a wet palette which should help with the layers and blends on the next one.

Here’s one to show the relative size.

Thanks for looking,
Frozin

Now that’s a cool little figure there.

I’d be quite happy if I was able to turn out something that looks as nice. Nicely done!

Yes, a very cool character figure. And I agree the paint work looks great especially in that scale.

Nice finish, Frozin, well done!

Great job on that figure especially when you consider how small it is.

Thanks all,

I’ve got a few more of these stashed away to work on when the mood hits. So far just mood lines removed and primer laid on, but ready for paint at a moments notice.
