Does anyone know where I can find a pic of a Duck interior? It doesn’t matter what version. I’ve searched all over and can’t seem to find one anywhere.
~ Thanks

let me look around for ya… a looooong time ago I had some pics when I was doing one myself… if I find them I will post them…
just off the fly I found one on google… I have a B&W of the rear gunner facing backwards which is in black and white but would be in the same colors as this one…

here’s the black and white: the site is slow and gives frequent page cannot be displayed messages but once you get it up it has the rear view I was talking about…

Awesome! Thanks for the links. I’m trying to make the old Glencoe kit look halfway decent and need all of the reference I can get my hands on.
~ Thanks again

I would be really leary about the first picture as it is of a restored J2F (check the radios between the instrument panels). Based upon the pictures on the Argentine site, I would say the interior was over all black. I base this on the perception that if the sidewalls and the areas around the instrument panel were zinc chromate green/bronze green, those areas were be more of a grey tone than the instrument panels. Which they don’t seem to be. At one time I thought the interior of the OS2U was zinc chromate. Then I found a couple of color pictures in a 1943 National Geographic which proved the interior was overall black. Just some food for thought.
