did’nt know if you would read the other poste . about the zim you we’re talking about. was it DIMOND shaped. if so i but to pics in one of these forums of panther A and panther Berg. if thats it i can put them here if you wont? i can find the other forum.[8]
As a matter of fact, they are diamond shape. I have seen the bergepanther but I would like to see the Panther.
i think this might be the pic that they got there idea from sorry i thought it was the hole tank but you can see the diamond pat on it hope you like.

yeah weve seen that type, its still got the verticle ridges on it, the zim Jwest has is just diamond with no back ground, Verlinden has said they made it up
great picture of an Ausf A turret
Close, but as Caveman said it is smooth and apparently fictional. I plan to build a Panther A and make up a total history for it and it’s crew. Apparently, making things up and passing them off ad historical is perfectly acceptable.
not a bad idea. i’ll do the same to heck with verlinden
Ooo, I smell a fictional build- use your Verlinden crap and come with a good story. Maybe we can open it to anything that wasn’t what you thought it was when you ordered it
If you are interested Atak makes a diamond zim for the late panther A. Airconnections site has a good photo of it. Note, Atak has two different zim patterns for the A panther. One is diamond and the other is the square pattern, The diamond pattern can be used to convert the early A model into the late A model.
OK, so TWO companies make diamond zimmerit?? WHY? Is there one picture out there I just cannot find?? This is frustrating. All I need is a camo pattern and turret number.
If it is the Type II for the late, it seems the turret is the only diagonal. The hull is regular tiles. Verlinden’s is ALL diagonal
Jason I have seen photos of the panther with the diamond pattern…somewhere, you know how that goes. Let me look. Greg.
I know, that it seems a tough go, but don’t you think , if they put vertical ridges in it, wouldn’t they leave them off on one or two?
Beav, It is entirely possible the thing exists, but I have looked and looked. even asked the company itself. I would LOVE to find one, so if gjek can find one, you will be my hero (I’ll put it in my sig.)
Check out this set of photos.

Sorry I had to edit the previous web address. It should work now. Ihave seen other photos and I’m still looking.
They have a secondary ridge design, which the Verlinden is lacking. It is a smooth diamond shaped finish. I would like to see what else you have, thouugh
