Jason, thanks in advance for the photos. I’ll be back here three weeks before the show, so I’ll have a bit of time to do some emergency last-minute detailing if need be!
Petbat, yes, I’m not that much of a rivet counter (I’m entirely too lazy, unfortunately), but I’m definitely insane enough to be a parts counter! Just to clarify, the count of 777 parts includes each individual piece of non-Aurora material I added to the model, such as the tiny bits of stretched sprue I used to make weld beads. The vast majority of the extra parts (over 500) were in the tracks and suspension, so it was all pretty easy to count.
I’ve primed (primered?) the whole thing once, went back and re-sanded some rough spots, touched up some soft detail, and re-primed. Now it will sit safely in a dust-free box waiting for its first coat of OD, which I’ll apply when I get back from the States.
There’s still time to change things, so if you see anything you think needs attention, please let me know.

Damn it Brian, that looks excellent! Gonna put my stuff to shame at Shizuoka! [:(] Really nice to see something so unusual and so well made. Love the scratch building. Sorry I can’t give you anything to work on regards things that need attention…it looks good to me! Can’t wait to see it painted.
