Iwata Revolution tip

I have a question for those Iwata owners out there. Does anyone have a HP-C and a Revolution airbrush and can you change the nozzles out between them? I ask because both have screw in nozzles and there always seems to be crossover between airbrush models of the same companies. I even wonder if the head and nozzles from a Tamyia HG airbrush would fit the Revolution as well.As an example I can take the head assembly off of my Sotar and put it on my 100LG and it works fine, whether or not it is supposed to is another question.

jfrejo, when i converted my hp-c to the .4mm n/n is was a 4 piece conversion. the 2 part head assembly, nozzle, and needle. you might see if the head assembly off the revolution will fit the threads on the head of the hp-c, but i’d do it at your on risk and very carefully. later.

An HP-CR will work with the HP-C needle/nozzle tip. But the HP-C will NOT work with the HP-CR needle/nozzle. Something in the thread of the nozzle will not let the HP-C nozzle thread on to the HP-CR nose. And the HP-CR just looks too weird and scary with an HP-C tip. The smaller, thinner, more tapered tip from the HP-C in the CR protrudes past the needle protector and can easily be bent.

Why would you want to make that strange combination? Just curious.
