Hey everyone,
I need a new airbrush and my budget is $100. I narrowed it down to the badger 150 and Iwata revolution. I am open to other airbrushes under $100 just let me know. I usually paint shoes and do paintings on paper.
Thank you

Hi, CarterZ -
First, may I recommend a good look at “Don Wheelers Airbrush,” all kinds of airbrush info there, it might well lead you to a choice.
I use mostly Badger, if you need a dual action AB then either of those you listed will be fine. If you can do all that you need with a single action, then I would recommend either the Badger 200-20 or the Badger 200G, the latter being a gravity fed model.
For dual action, I use the 100LG, gravity fed. The Iwata is indeed a fine AB, I use one, but the Badger’s are less costly and perform well.
Look for promotional sales at Chicago Airbrush, TCP and Webaire, I bought several of my Badgers for around $50-80 on sales events, they happen reguarly.
Good luck with your search.

sorry, revived a zombie post
I would suggest the Badger Patriot 105 if you’re looking at the 150. Gravity fed makes changing colors/cleaning easier and the color cup is large enough for the volume of paint we work with. Keep an eye on amazon.com as well because the prices often fluctuate and you can get a good brush for pretty cheap.
I’ve only owned three airbrushes in my model making life, and they were all from Badger. The 150, 200, and now the Patriot 105.
I would gave preferred the 150 with the gravity cup, but I think the cup was too small for my taste, so I got the 105.
I’ve looked at many reviews on youtube about the 105, and it was convincing enough for me to go with it.
Research on the web, you will get plenty of opinions about who likes what. Just go with what you appeals to you. My choice is for Badger, just like my paint preference is for Testors’ Model Master. To each their own.
