Iwata compressor..your thoughts

I’m considering purchasing the Sprint Jet compressor made by Iwata. I would like to hear any pros or cons that you folks may have.

I have had one for about 6 months and like it. The compressor is quiet and puts out a good stream of air. The pressure regulator is not the most user friendly but once you get used to it its okay. The Sprint Jet has it all over the Smart Jet so IMHO you are looking at the right product.

Good modeling to you[:D]

Not trying to steer you away from the Iwata if that is the one you want, but have you looked into the Air Star V by Thayer & Chandler?
I believe it is almost the same compressor, in fact they may be the same inside as they are not made by either company and are produced overseas for them.
The Air Star V you can get from Badger factory refurbished for $99 if they still have them in their Gargage Sale section of the website.
They have auto-shutoff, a built-in regulator and are very quiet.

or a industrial compressor, those work well, when they’re full they autoshutoff and it’s quiet from then on

1337, I have a Craftsman compressor in the garage, but it’s getting to cold to paint out there…hence, a smaller compressor for inside use.
Mike…thanks, I’ll check out their site.
