Ramp shot of Fat Albert and Blue Angel Hornet…

Cool picture !!!
That Hornet is flying really close…
It’s like the Hornet wants to land in the cargo plane !!!
Cheers,
Jürgen
I guess he had to drop his wheels to be able to slow down enough to get behind her?
Fill it up, wash the windshield and check the tires.

Come on guys, let me in I have had an exhausting day.
I wonder just how much closer that guy could actually get?
A breed apart…
Yup, the Hornet’s got all the garbage hanging out except the driver’s laundry (note the leading edges), but we’ve all seen the amazing slow-speed characteristics of these Bugs in the standard issue solo airshow program. It’s probably No. 7 with one of the techies in the back seat brought close to wave to his buds in Fat Albert.
wow, pretty cool pic. He’s right on top of her.
I see that the two crewmen in Fat Albert do not think it necessary to wear safety harnesses … Would you stand that close to the end of an open ramp door, close to the slipstream, without one …? It’s a long way down…
Uh…I see a harness on both of the crewmen.
Is this the line for Valet parking???
Extreme McDonalds!!
I’ll have a large fries, Diet Pepsi, and one of those lil’ plastic toys for the kid in the back…
G.I.B. ta Pilot: I thought ya said we were gonna land on an Aircraft carrier!!!
Pilot ta G.I.B.: It’s the new age fer CAR QUALS…HEHEHE… undaer his breath… Nuggets!!!
Great shot tho!![wow][(-D]
Yikes thats close! Cool pic-thanks for sharing it,
Darren.
The Blue Angels latest flight demo. In flight crew changes. [:O]
Tailgaters!!!
Hi Russell…They are there, look in the shadows behind the left leg of the left guy and the behind the right leg of the right guy…

They’re hooked up all right - all clipped in and hooked up with comms as well - these guys are pros - they simply never, ever, ever take unneccesary risks.
You might think that the very nature of the Blue Angels performances are inherently dangerous, but with their level and standard of training and the personal skill levels that these guys have, what they do isn’t dangerous - to you and me it would be highly dangerous, but to them, it’s about as hazardous as you or I walking across the street.
Like I said - a breed apart.
Very cool pix, thanks for sharing.
Great Photo, I’d love to be standing on that ramp with those guys.
