Ugh. First, I was late getting some work going because boy kid left his homework at home and I had to drive it to his school. Then, in the office, my laser printer spooled up and my PC immediately shut off due to a bad UPS. After crawling around under the desk with a bad knee, I finally got that replaced, then when I finally got back to the printer, it was dead - needs a new drum. Went to PT and discovered I tore the meniscus in my right knee, which is why it’s been so messed up since last month. Finally, get back to the office and back to the work from Friday and find that the PC shutting down instantly corrupted the file, so I have to recover/rebuild from an older file.
I’m not touching any models for a while, I don’t want to glue myself to them or lose tiny parts or shoot an airbrush needle across the room or step on a canopy or … whatever!
I suppose if there’s a bright side it may be that things just get better from here on out. (Believe me, I have a superstitious dread of ‘challenging’ the universe by saying “It couldn’t get any w*rse”…because then it usually does!)
I take that as the Universe telling me to take it easy. I usually sit down with a cold beverage and a good book and let the Universe take care of itself.
It’s funny but this last Saturday I really hurt my knee and have been trying to keep off it but I’m worried that I might have really messed it up. If I don’t get pain free soon I guess I’ll be heading to the orthopedic doctor too.
Good luck @gomeral, sorry about your Monday.
