It's Valentine's Day...

…so what modeling “goodies” did your significant others’ get you?

I got an OOP Revel 1/48 B-17F. Can’t wait to tear into it!

No modeling related goodies [:(], but she baked me my favorite " Mud Pie Brownies", a very sinful mixture of chocolate & caramel. I gave her the usual dozen red roses.

Regards, Rick

No real “goodies”, except she let me bid (and win) two kits on e-Bay:

  1. A 1/48 Monogram Pro-Modeler F-15E;

and,

  1. A Hasegawa 1/48 F-16CJ w/ “goodies”…a “seamless suckers” resin big-mouth intake, a Black Box cockpit, and Black Magic masks.

Now I’m going after Tamiya’s 1/32 F-16CJ…arrrrrgh.

I’m a happy one today. [:D]

My Fiance gave me a 1/48th Hasegawa C-21A Military airlift command Learjet , which I intend to build soon as I finish my monogram B-29 Superfortess.

No modelling goodies, I got a box of chocolate, 2 DVD´s and a card.
However, for my bithday last year she gave me the Hazegawa 1/72 F-106A Delta dart “City of Jacksonville” that i wished for(it´s really hard to get over here).

Man, that is true love!![:)]

Actually neither of us have given each other anything yet by mutual agreement. It may be Valentine’s Day, but it’s also our 35th Wedding Anniversary. So we decided that we would wait until Friday, then we’re going to the Garden Show (for her), the Red Lobster, Hobby Lobby (for me) and a movie.

Let’s see, ladies first,
I got my wife a cannon G-6 7 megapixel camera, and a sony camcorder, no roses or card, I’m broke now. lol

Then went to Hobby Lobby armed with my coupon and got the RG B-36, and an Academy F-15C/D. I wanted to compare it to my 6 revell kits.

It would seem I got the short end of the deal here. [:D]

I got something REALLY cool!

Nah, not that! It’s something else!

A wireless (cordless) game controller for my PlayStation 2! Almost as good as the “other” thing!

I got heart skivvies and Diana Krall’s latest CD. Do they count if I wear the boxers and listen to Diana while I’m building my Tamiya F-16CJ?

Tally ho!

LOL -
You all are so romantic!!!
I gave and received a big kiss and a hug with my wife for Valentine’s Day. That was good enough for the both of us…we’ve been married for 20 years (this April) so we’d rather do something together than buy each other a gift.
Time really is more precious than a card or flowers.
