After using the cursed stuff (or attempting to) I’ve come to the firm conclusion that PE stands for Psychotic Endeavor. 
Its not so bad once you get used to it. Just have to be patient and expect to lost about 25% of your PE parts to the carpet monster.
Yeah, I’ve got my share of imbedded micro pieces of PE in my carpeting. Too bad PE isn’t a ferrous metal as otherwise I could simply find the pieces with a strong magnet. Then again, most of those pieces were too damn small to be seen anyway. I know there are those who enjoy going to great lengths in detailing small areas that in the end will never be seen but I am not among them. I’m a firm believer that if no one can see it without the aid of a strong light and a jeweler’s loupe then I’m not going to bust my cojones and go through the stress of bothering with it.
Somtimes i wish i could think that way. I once spent days scratchbuilding the interiour of both rear fuselage sections of an He 111Z. You can’t see a damn bloody thing in there.
