It's no Russel Crowe but it is a Gladiator

This is not the Roden 48 scale kit but an ancient Linberg kit.

Just a minor detail to add, but this took 16 housr from out of the box to this, the decals are the kit, with exception to the CV-U which is replicating 3 Sqn RAAF in Nth Africa. l have another of these kits in the stash but this one will do for the time being.

Rob.

Wow! Very, very nice! Any idea where I could get one of these Lindberg or Roden kits? Are they still in production & available? We are definitely entertained!

Congrats, you did an excellent job on that old kit! Just goes to show it doesn’t always have to be the latest Tamiyagawa offering to make an eyecatching model. You just have to add elbow grease an filler.[:D] Btw: what a great and much neglected subject!

Great job Rob! Anytime you can make a Linberg kit look that good, your doing something right. [8D]

Lobbie: thanks for the info, cobber. It does help, much appreciated.

It looks better than Russel Crowe too!! Very nice work.

Hehehe! I agree.

Very fine job on the Gladiator, Rob!

Very nice build of an ancient kit. You did it proud. In answer to mobydick, the Roden kit is a fairly new release & should be readily available. I think the Lindberg kit is OOP but you find them occasionally at shows or on eBay.

That aircraft has always interested me. You did a great job on it.

awesome rob. great build. thanks for the peek.

joe

A great job on an unusual subject. Is it a 1/48 or 72 kit?

Love the camo job…absolutely beautiful!!!

Rob, great job on an older kit. My hat’s off to you. What else do you have stashed in your display case that we haven’t seen yet? [:D]

Really good, given the kit you started with! Really good!

good work again!

Looks awsome! Gladiators rate up there with one of the coolest planes ever - nice choice.

Wonderfully done , I love how you did the rigging.

Great job on such a basic kit. Keep up the good work !

very nicely done

Guy’s,

Thanks for the encouraging words on the build, in answer to Dave Toews, yes it’s 48 scale. Keyworth, a simple answer to your question is Lots.

Thanks once again guy’s.
Rob.
