Saturday (June 28th) My Pa and I went to see Collings Foundation visit by none other than one B-24J Liberator, one B-17G, one B-25J AND… and P-51C two seat trainer. I dunno what is more exciting… to walk around and about over and around while they’re taking on fuel, firing-up, taxiing and the take-off roll or to see 'em buzzing over town around 1,500ft! They’re ALL SO FREAK’N COOL, my Pa and I were like kids in a candy store. Excellent day! WOO-HOO!
